Brooklands Farm

Brooklands Farm is a family-run Jersey farm founded by Jon Hackett, who transformed a lifelong passion for farming and animal husbandry into a thriving agricultural business following his retirement from the mortgage and investment industry. What began as a small-scale hobby has grown into a successful farm operated alongside his wife Jenny, son Jono, and an in-house butcher.

Located in St Brelade, the farm rears a variety of livestock including cattle, pigs, poultry, ducks, and geese, all raised with a strong focus on animal welfare and traditional farming values. The purpose-built Jersey granite farmhouse also houses a butchery, commercial kitchen, production facilities, and chilled storage, supporting the farm’s commitment to quality local produce.

Brooklands Farm combines countryside tradition with family values, creating a sustainable business rooted in care for animals, the land, and the local community. Jon’s personal philosophy remains simple — if an animal looks unhappy, customers can have it for free — a promise he proudly says has never been claimed.
