Elle’s Embroidery

Elle’s Embroidery is a Jersey-based creative business founded by Elise Wetherall, specialising in colourful handcrafted cross-stitch embroidery. Born during lockdown from a love of arts, crafts, and inherited unfinished projects from her mother, the business quickly developed into a passion for creating fun, modern embroidered designs.

Each piece is individually hand stitched using original patterns designed by Elise on squared paper before being sewn onto traditional aida fabric. Designs can take anywhere from 8 to 15 hours to complete and often contain thousands of individual stitches, combining traditional embroidery techniques with bold, retro, and playful themes.

From quirky home décor to personalised commissions featuring favourite quotes, lyrics, or special occasions, Elle’s Embroidery brings a contemporary twist to a classic craft. Her work is available through social media and local craft markets across Jersey.
