Marc McCarty

Marc McCarty is a skilled glassblower and the only practising glassblower in the Channel Islands, creating bespoke hand-blown glass pieces from his studio in St Mary.

Working from the Priory Inn Studio near Devil’s Hole, Marc produces a range of items including vessels, sculptures and lighting. His studio is open to the public, where visitors can watch live demonstrations and gain insight into traditional glassblowing techniques.

With a background in hot glass design and sculpture, Marc’s work blends craftsmanship, artistry and performance, offering both unique pieces and engaging experiences.
