Purpleheart Woodturning is a Jersey-based artisan woodworking business founded by Dominic Le Huquet, specialising in handcrafted wood-turned pieces and resin art. After discovering woodturning at a UK craft show in 2019, Dominic quickly developed a passion for the craft and began creating a wide range of bespoke items including bowls, pens, vases, bottle stoppers, and decorative pieces.

Working with both native and exotic timbers, his creations combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary resin techniques, often incorporating unusual materials and vibrant colours into unique, one-of-a-kind designs. Sustainability is also an important part of the business, with a focus on reducing waste and reusing materials wherever possible.

Purpleheart Woodturning continues to grow through commissions, local events, and online platforms, showcasing beautifully crafted pieces inspired by creativity, craftsmanship, and the natural beauty of wood.
